Client Access Help

Quickbooks Connection

Step 1) To get Started click on the link at the top of the webpage as indicated in the image below.

Step 2) A webpage to sign onto the server will open.

The first time you visit this site you may see the notification that the website wants to run an add-on

Click on the notification, then click to run the add-on.
These instructions assume you are using Internet Explorer 8 or lower. If you are using Internet Explorer 9, then the notification will appear at the bottom of the window.

If you are using Firefox, Chrome, or another browser they will not work. Internet Explorer is the ONLY browser compatible with this service.

Step 3) Enter the credentials that have been provided to you.
Make sure when entering your user name it is preceded by csiwebaccess\ like it shows in the image.
Check this is a private computer and then click on Sign in.

Step 4) The webpage should now display one or more icons that link to the programs and files you are authorized to access.
Click on an icon to open your program.

You should not be asked for a user name and password again until you open a Quickbooks file.
If after clicking on an icon you get a box that asks for a user name and password that doesn’t look like the one below (notice it says Quickbooks Login) then continue reading.
If you do get the proper Quickbooks login box skip to step 5.

You have two sets of credentials. One to get you onto the server that houses your Quickbooks data, which is what these instructions have applied to up to this point, and another that gets you into your Quickbooks data. You should only have to enter your server credentials one time as shown in step 3 above. If a box opens asking you for your user name and password again that isn’t the Quickbooks Login below then you will need to enter the same username and password again that you used in step 3 above. Although you can use the system this way it is unintended behavior.

There are only two reasons for this:

One: When logging in at step 3 above you didn’t include csiwebaccess\ in front of your name. In which case you can simply sign out and sign in again properly.

Two: Your PC is running Windows XP or Windows Vista and requires updating. To solve this you or your IT person should update Windows XP to service pack 3 or Windows Vista to at least service pack 1 and install the update found Here

Step 5) Enter your Quickbooks user name and password. These will be different from the server credentials you used in step 3.
